My work in diagnostics includes creating rapid assays to detect microorganisms in blood and biopharmaceuticals, as well as non-invasive liquid biopsy platforms that highly sensitively detect brain tumor signals from circulating cell-free DNA. Additionally, to aid in the discovery of new drugs like antibiotics, I am developing a high-purity DNA purification platform for biofoundry applications to overcome synthesis errors.
