Scalable microchip self-assembly is time and cost efficient method for massive assembly. Conventional pick-and-place method is accurate but takes long time to assemble many sites. Our method uses surface energy, capillary and gravitational forces, and assembles many random sites simultaneously. This platform is applicable from 10s to 100s micrometer scale, which can be used assemble small electronic chips such as LEDs or solar cells.
